ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
The bus will drive us up to "El Habario", a place between the towns of Pendes and Cabañes, in the municipality of Cillorigo de Liébana, an area of great landscape and ecological importance, which has centuries-old chestnut trees .
We will walk from here to Pendes and to a hermitage. Afterwards we will follow our way through a very quiet road with beautiful views around. As we arrive to los Ñeros, where we will stop for lunch (tapas lunch) at Hotel Restaurante Los Ñeros :
Tapas lunch: French fries with barbecue or aioli, Rabas, Squid, Croquettes, Table with sausages and Cheese, Chicken wings. Drinks: Wine, Soda and Water.
After lunch, we will continue towards Potes following the river path. From Potes to the Monastery of Santo Toribio we will have to wak up the 3 last kilometers along the slope of the Viorna mountain where the Monastery is located. We will spend some time in the Monastery before heading back to Santander by bus.
