We will pick you up with our van at your hotel and from there we will go to El Faro de Cabo Mayor, the perfect place to make an introduction to the Protected Natural Area of the Bay of Santander.

 

After this initial interpretation of the coastline, we will go to Astillero, to enjoy its White and Black Marshes. Here we will walk a small path (1.5km) to interpret the marshes, observe the aquatic birds and passerines, and the marshy vegetation of the area.

 

Our next stop will be at Marina de Cudeyo, where we will visit the Osprey Center in the El Tolle de Rubayo neighborhood. Here we will have the option of taking a 3 km walking route through the Marisma del Conde, an area of Special Conservation (ZEC) of the Natura 2000 Network due to its high ecological value and its rich and abundant bird community will surprise us. Here we will pay special attention to the osprey.

 

Our last stop will be in Pedreña to visit the shellfish nursery, and understand the shellfish activity. We will end the excursion enjoying a tasting of clams with white wine.
