DESCRIPTION
With its 6678 hectares, the Santoña, Victoria and Joyel Marshes Natural Park is a protected natural area, and the most important marshes in the north of Spain. These marshes have three localized areas: the estuary that forms the Asón River (Santoña-Laredo) and the Victoria and Joyel marshes
This unique enclave, in addition to being lavish in marine fauna, is used by migratory birds, coming from the north and center of the continent, on their way to warmer lands. Overall, in this natural space, 121 species of birds linked to the aquatic environment have been observed to date.
The route is very simple, basically flat and designed for everyone. Accompanied by your specialized birdwatching guide, you will enjoy a very rewarding experience for people who like bird watching.
To complete this experience, you will be offered a small picnic (sandwich and water) during the route.
