In the Cabuérniga valley we find the small town of Ucieda, a place with roots and cattle tradition, where the pastures created by man coexist with the brañas and the native forest of beech, oak, holly and chestnut. Of the latter we can find magnificent large specimens. We are in the middle of the Saja-Besaya natural park, our route runs along a track and path in the middle of the forest, ascending next to the Bayones river, an exquisite itinerary for the senses that will allow us to delight ourselves with the flora and fauna in this corner of the land.
