TOUR DESCRIPTION
BOOKING CALENDAR

Experience the thrill of a canoe excursion on the stunning Asón River, immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of the Collados del Asón Natural Park, and explore one of the most significant caves in Ramales de la Victoria.

We begin the day with a visit to the Cullalvera Cave, renowned for its impressive entrance, which emerges majestically from a lush Cantabrian holm oak forest of high ecological value. Inside, a captivating audiovisual presentation, combined with a mesmerizing display of water, light, and sound, will transport you through the history of this cave and others in the region, from prehistoric times to recent history.

Alternatively, you may opt to visit the Covalanas Cave, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, celebrated for its prehistoric cave paintings. Reaching the cave requires a 20-minute uphill walk. Note that due to limited availability, tickets for this cave must be booked well in advance, especially during high season.

Following the cave visit, we will embark on a scenic drive through the Collados del Asón Natural Park, where you will marvel at waterfalls, lush forests, and picturesque landscapes dotted with grazing cattle. Highlights include the spectacular 80-meter waterfall marking the source of the Asón River and the impressive viewpoint overlooking the Gándara River's source.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues with an exhilarating canoe descent along the Asón River. This 8-kilometer route (approximately 2.5 hours) offers excitement and fun, with no prior experience required. The journey features small jumps and rapids, adding an extra layer of adventure to the experience.

This unforgettable day promises a perfect blend of nature, exploration, and excitement. Join us for an adventure you’ll cherish forever!
