Important to notice:
The Cabárceno Nature Park is unlike any conventional zoo or natural park. Sculpted from a former open-pit iron mine, this extraordinary space is a stunning transformation of industrial heritage into a wildlife sanctuary.
Prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking karst landscapes spanning over 750 hectares, making it one of the largest animal parks in the world. The park is home to more than 1,000 animals from approximately 150 species across five continents, all living in semi-freedom within expansive enclosures thoughtfully integrated into the natural environment.
Given the park's vast size, our visit will be conducted by minivan or bus in high season, allowing us to comfortably explore the enclosures of fascinating animals such as gorillas, tigers, lions, bears, cheetahs, and elephants. Adding to the experience, we will enjoy a 1-kilometer cable car ride, offering unparalleled aerial views of the park's stunning terrain. The panoramic vistas from the cable car are truly unforgettable!
If weather permits, you’ll also have the chance to witness a birds of prey flight demonstration, an awe-inspiring display of nature's agility and power.
This excursion is designed to be fun and educational for all ages, offering countless opportunities to marvel at wildlife and learn fascinating facts about the animals and their habitat. Don’t miss this remarkable adventure!
