TOUR DESCRIPTION
We will travel to the Liébana region, renowned as one of the most stunning areas in Cantabria. Along the way, we will pass through charming villages, dense forests, and the dramatic Hermida Gorge.
Our first stop will be the Monastery of Santo Toribio, one of the four holy sites of Christianity. This monastery is significant for housing the Lignum Crucis, the largest preserved fragment of the Cross of Jesus.
Next, we will continue to Fuente Dé, home to the cable car station. Here, you will have free time to explore the area, embark on a horseback riding excursion, or take a ride on the cable car to the upper station, if you wish. The cable car journey lasts approximately four minutes and ascends to an altitude of 1,823 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and explore the scenic surroundings.
At around 2:45 p.m., we will arrive in Potes, the capital of Liébana and widely regarded as one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. Potes is famed for its cobblestone streets, historic bridges, and the medieval Torre del Infantado. Here, we will take a break for lunch (not included). Given the town's small size and popularity, we strongly recommend booking a restaurant in advance.
After lunch, we will gather for a short walking tour to explore more of Potes, including its bridges, charming streets, and riverside path, before heading back.

- Cable car tickets: €20/person (low season) - €30/person (high season), plus a €1 administration fee. Cable car tickets must be purchased between 24 and 48 hours before the activity date. Once the company has made the purchase, the ticket becomes non-refundable, and the customer assumes the obligation to pay if, for any reason, they have to cancel their booking at the last minute. -
Horse riding route - available from June 21 to September 29 - €35/hour.
This activity must be booked and paid for in advance, and allows free cancellation up to 7 days before the activity; subsequent cancellations will incur a penalty of 100% of the cost of the Horseback Riding Route activity. -
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the tour to take place. The company reserves the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants is not reached or if weather conditions are unfavorable. In such cases, you will be offered the option of a full refund or a change of tour date.
