TOUR DESCRIPTION
Discover the fishing village of Santoña on this morning excursion. Surrounded by its extraordinary bay, the natural park of the Santoña, Vitoria and Joel marshes and the spectacular Mount Buciero. Santoña brings together all the elements to surprise the visitor who comes only to see this town for its famous anchovy canning industry.
As it coudn't be otherwise, on this excursion you will visit one of the main anchovy factories in the area and discover the secrets of its anchovy production. You will be surprised how much amount of manual work is behind the preparation of the anchovies.
You will also embark on a regular excursion by boat through the Santoña bay up to the Faro del Caballo (Lighthouse), this trip will take one hour. You will love the views of La Salvé beach of Laredo and the cliffs of Monte Buciero from the sea!
To finish, we will take a short drive through the port and along the promenade until we reach the Fort of San Martín, from where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the sea promenade of Santoña.
