Discover the seaside town of Santoña on this morning excursion. Surrounded by its extraordinary bay, the Santoña, Vitoria and Joel Marshes Natural Park, and the spectacular Mount Buciero , Santoña has everything to surprise visitors who come only to see the town for its famous anchovy canning industry.

As you might expect, this excursion includes a visit to one of the area's leading canneries , where you'll discover the secrets of their anchovy production. You'll be amazed by the manual labor involved in preparing the anchovies.

We also offer the option of joining a regular boat trip across Santoña Bay to the Faro del Caballo lighthouse (1 hour). You'll love the views of La Salvé beach and the cliffs of Monte Buciero from the sea! If you don't wish to take this trip, you can use your free time to explore the streets of this charming seaside town.

Finally, we'll take a short drive around the port and along the seafront promenade to reach the San Martín Fort, from where you'll enjoy a beautiful view.

  • You must be at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before the departure time.
     

  • Boat ticket price: €15/adult - €7/child (4-12 years) - children under 4 years free.
    (The guide is paid on the day of the tour)
     

  • A minimum of 4 participants is required for the excursion to take place. The company reserves the right to cancel the trip if the group does not reach the minimum number of participants or if weather conditions are unfavorable. In such cases, you will be offered the option of a full refund or a change of tour date.
     

  • For groups of at least 4 people, we can offer this excursion on other days outside the scheduled program (only from November 15th to June 15th). This is always subject to availability and the tour remains open to other bookings.
