We will leave from Santander at 3:30 pm and We will go to the Sequoia forest of Cabezón de la Sal, declared a Natural Monument in 2003. It is a forest that, with its 2.5 hectares, is one of the largest of its type in all of Spain. Once in the forest,We will take a short walking tour through its network of trails and itineraries, while we admire its great beauty and enjoy the peace and silence among its trees, up to 40 meters high.

 

Later we will move tothe town of San Vicente de la Barquera, one of the most beautiful and well-known images of the entire Cantabrian coast, which integrates the sea and its estuary with the background of the peaks of Europe.

In San Vicente we will visit its bridges and thehistorical complex of old puebla, declared a Site of Cultural Interest of Cantabria, for its important monuments and the remains of an ancient defensive wall. From its historical complex we highlight the Gothic Church of Sta María de los Ángeles, the king's Castle that we will also visit.

 Finally you will enjoy some free time to have a drink or to shop around the city, until our return to Santander.
