TOUR DESCRIPTION
If you like hiking, nature and mountains, this proposal is for you!.
We will leave Santander at 8:00 am to be at Fuente Dé early in the morning. The drive will take us two hours to arrive to Fuente De´ where you will meet your mountain guide. You will then take the cable car to the upper station of Fuente Dé. The cable car ride will last 4 minutes and will take you to a height of 1,823m above sea level. There you will enjoy impressive views before starting your hiking route.
The route that you will take will be a route down the mountain until you reach the town of Espinama. The descent will last about 3.5-4 hours. The experience of walking through Picos de Europa is unforgettable for its unique environment. If we are lucky we may see an eagle, vulture or pigualda raivan.
Once back from our route, we will say goodbye to our mountain guide and return back to the village of Potes. This small town is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Spain for its stone houses, its bridges and the two rivers that cross it. There we will enjoy free time to eat and walk through its streets.
Finally, we will head towards the Hotel Balneario of la Hermida, its thermal waters are considered one of the best in Europe. There you will enjoy a 1.15-hour thermal circuit, the perfect reward after such a full day walking through Picos de Europa.
